American Soldier

A.  The most important photo on my opinion is the picture of Ian coming home and him reacting to it being cold and being happy to come home, which really shows how long he had been in Iraq. Another picture that would be good, is the last picture off Ian and his girlfriend preparing to get married.

B. The images work together to tell a story by showing fans emotions and the things going on in his life.

C. The captions help explain exactly  whats going on or what just happened or explain why the picture is.

D. Ian Fishers journey started off with him leaving from high school at age 17 and joining the army and starting his life in the army. Ian starts off not on the right foot by not enjoying the army and not feeling like he has a spot in the army or back in america in his real life. Ian life feels a little unsettled and lives life with the complications and struggles of being in the army. Soon Ian adapts to the army lifestyle and returns to see his family and marries his girlfriend.

E. The verbs are in present tense.

F. 1. The captions are around 1 to 2 sentences long
2. The first sentence explains what action is going on.
3.The second sentence says a quote that Ian says or a reason for the action.
4. The third sentence explains the details and information about place and date.
5. Yes the captions will include a quote sometimes.
6.There are no captions with four sentences.

G. people can interpret whats going on just by visual things, like watching a movie and telling whats going on and you need little to none text or captions of whats going on.

H. You can't do everything with just pictures and captions and you can do things with pictures that you can't do with words but you can also do things with words that you can't do with pictures.
